Mayes Lasting Quality
Share
We recently received a heartwarming letter from a longtime customer whose Mayes level has been a trusted companion for seven decades. The story began in the early 1950s at O'Neil Hardware in Altus, Oklahoma, where a local businessman purchased the level. It was later passed down to his son, who has used it for building shelves, pouring concrete, and countless other projects over the years.
The level's durability was recently put to the ultimate test when it fell from a 6-foot ladder onto a concrete patio floor. The result? Virtually no damage except for a displaced glass cover that didn't affect its functionality.
"Your company made a quality product, and this was just reaffirmed as it fell off my 6' ladder on to a concrete patio floor. Without damage I might add," the customer wrote.
This story perfectly embodies the Mayes tradition of crafting tools built to last. At GreatNeckTools, we're honored to carry forward the Mayes legacy of quality and durability.
